Before working in housing, I spent a number of years working for HM Probation Service and the NHS. I joined Grosvenor Housing Association in 1990 and worked as a Project Officer until 1997. After a step up the ladder I became a Housing Manager in Wigan where I was responsible for all Anti Social Behaviour issues and liaising with external agencies.
In 2004 I obtained a BSc in Housing Studies from the University of Salford.
Best achievement to date: Obtaining my degree
Favourite place: Venice
Favourite thing: White wine and Soda or chocolate (it's a close call)
Least favourite thing: Worms (I am a keen gardener)
