Christine Shilston
Legal Assistant

I have worked as a Legal Assistant for Whiteheads Solicitors since March 2001 advising Clients in respect of the various legal remedies available. Upon instruction, I undertake work to instigate, progress and conclude legal action, including representing Clients at Court in interim Hearings.
Prior to working for the Firm, I worked as a Housing Officer for Collingwood Housing Association for 7 years, during which time I completed my Higher National Certificate in Housing Studies. In this role I was responsible for management of General Needs, Sheltered and Supported Housing Scheme properties in areas in Preston, South Ribble and Lancaster. Duties included dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour, Lettings, Tenant Liaison, Rent Arrears, Repairs and Development.
Prior to commencing in my career in the Housing and Legal Professions I served 5 years in the Royal Air Force as a Telecommunications Operator using various types of equipment to facilitate communications nationally and internationally, including telegraph, radio and Morse Code.
